KeyTec is a global operating company with (production) subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Netherlands, and China. The privately owned family company has a project oriented approach with short communication lines responding fast to customer questions.

The company KeyTec s.ro. in Ceske Budejovice was founded in 1994 as Philips Mecoma Ceska, a subsidiary of Philips Electronics from the Netherlands. In year 2000 Philips decided to sell their Mecoma subsidiaries to the KeyTec group and  KeyTec Ceske Budejovice s.r.o.was estabilished. KeyTec is an abbreviation of two English words Key + Technology.

KeyTec Ceske Budejovice employs about  280 people.

Our technology is focused on and around progressive metal stamping. We produce in high volumes metal components for interior air conditioning, for heat pumps, for interior and exterior lighting and for cars (bumpers, infotainment components).

We are processing sheet metal - steel, aluminum, copper and stainless steel –  between 0,3 to 8 mm thickness. We have over 40 presses with a tonnage from 32 to 630 tons.

In addition to stamping, we are equipped with machines for toxing, threadforming, degreasing, deburring and laser marking (for QR coding the parts). In addition, we  offer assembly of stamped products (e.g. sticking of adhesive sealings and insulations, riveting).

Every year, KeyTec Ceske Budějovice manufactures more than 60 million  products and processes over 10 000 tons of metal!
