The automotive industry is one of the world's largest economic sectors by revenue. It comprises a wide range of companies and organizations involved in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing and selling of motorized vehicles.

The increasing worldwide demand for vehicles, new emission and weight reduction targets and of course the safety and quality requirements, challenges the supply chain of the OEM’s to manage together with its Tier 1-2-3 partners every day the development, creation, production and delivery of products in the most efficient way to realize the lowest total cost of ownership possible.

For many years, KeyTec mainly acts as a Tier 2 partner in the automotive value chain, implementing and fulfilling its role by industrializing the customer’s concepts and product designs into a well-managed production environment with the use of specific designed tools.

Beyond the ISO 14001 management system, the implemented and maintained IATF 16949 certification backs the KeyTec organisation in all phases of the product lifecycle. From the pre-production phase starting with RFQ, Team Feasibility and APQP project implementation to the finalization of the project phase with PPAP documentation. But also during the production operation from raw material sourcing and supply and running the production process to the logistics flow to deliver the parts to the customer. All to fulfil the main purpose of the (just) in time delivery of the right volume of products in the right quality at the right cost.
